Checking the Pivot for Each Body Part

A pivot is a base or a center of a body part. The transformation of each body part is based on its position. For characters, the pivots of each body part thus can be taken as the joint for each body bone. Inappropriate location of the pivot can cause a faulty motion result; therefore, you need to confirm the position of the pivots individually.
