Ok, now! All the
hard effort will be exported into iClone and apply to the characters of
your preference.
Export the motion by
accessing to File > Export.
There are two ways you can
export the motion data. One way is through Character studio in 3ds Max.
Another way is through BVH Converter by using the Reference Character (EyesJapan)
in endorphin.
Character Studio
Pipeline
Name the file and
choose file type to "CSM Files (CharacterStudio Marker*.csm)"
and save.
"Character01:
Export to" window pops up and click "OK".
Now you may use the
motion
on
one of Reallusion biped in 3ds Max.
Click on "Motion"
tab. Under the Motion Capture section, select "Load Motion
Capture File". Browse to the *.csm file you have just
saved from endorphin and "Open".
This launches
up the "Motion Capture Conversion Parameters" window. Click "OK".
Now look in the
timeline. See! There are the keys to the motion.
Let's play the
motion.
Go to File >
Export and export the motion as "iClone3 File".
Export as "Character
Animation". Click "New" button to add a new clip, modify
the Name and the animation range (From, To) by
double-clicking the cell and typing the new value.
Note: the file name of the exported motion is the text in "Name"
field of the Animation list, but not text in the File Name field.
Launch iClone3. Go to Animation > Motion > Custom Content
Manager. Here is the motion I just exported.
