Export the Loop Walk
Now we can export the
motion as an iMotion for iClone to import.
- Go to "File" >
"Export". Then the "Select File to Export" pops
up, name the file and save it as "iClone3 File". Where to place
the motions for iClone3? Well... Are you
organized? If you don't want to miss the files in
the future. Then you got to save the motions in here, in the Reallusion's iClone3's Custom Motion folder. The default path of
custom content is located in "C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Documents\Reallusion\Custom\iClone 3 Custom\Motion"
(XP). Vista is located in "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Custom\iClone
3 Custom\Motion".
- After you click "Save".
The "Reallusion iClone Panel" pops up. In the "File Type"
save as "Character Animation".
- Now the panel expands for more options. Check
"Biped" option to indicate that we are going to export iClone Motion from a Biped Skeleton.
- In this right-side
panel we can set the range of animation to export. Click "New"
to add a new animation clip insert the values of the frames of "From"
and "To". In this animation the "From" would be the first
frame that left foot is stepping out to hit the ground. For
the "To", it would be the last frame to end the cycle.
Click "OK" to export the motion. Notice that the file name of the exported
motion is the same as the "walk_loop" on the right-side panel.
