Rename Component in Sketchup Renaming 1. Car model imported from Google 3D Warehouse:
2 Right click on items in Outliner and choose Entity Info:
2(b). Continue renaming:
3. After import into 3DXchange:
Look at the difference after renaming as listed in the 3DXchange Scene Tree:
The hidden parts were small, flat cylinders that could not be seen in the model. You may wish to rename them differently to suit your workflow or DELETE them to reduce the poly count. The names you choose should make sense to you when you work with the model in 3DXchange. |
